RawRoom Free 30-day trial Pricing Open the editor

RAW editor · browser-native · 100% local

Real RAW editing. In your browser.

Your photos never leave your machine.

RawRoom opens your camera's raw files — NEF, RAF, CR3, ARW, DNG — and develops them on your own hardware. No install, no account, no cloud. Drop a file in, edit in a dark, colour-neutral workspace, and export a full-resolution JPEG from your own GPU.

Free for 30 days: 50 full-size RAW exports, no card. Then RawRoom Develop is a one-time $19.99, not a subscription. See pricing.

The walkthrough

From raw file to finished JPEG

  1. Drop in a raw file

LibRaw, compiled to WebAssembly, opens your camera's file on your own machine. A preview is on screen in about a second. Files larger than your device can render open at a reduced size, and the editor tells you the exact size used.

    NEF · RAF · CR3 · ARW · DNG — or JPEG / PNG / WebP · decoded locally

  2. Develop the image

The develop panel — light, colour, tone curve and geometry — applies every adjustment in linear light on your GPU, checked against a reference pipeline.

Light · colour · tone curve · geometry, on your GPU

  3. Add a film look

A starter set of film looks is included — classic colour and black-and-white renderings, each with a 0–100 strength control. Apply one, or edit clean. The larger film library ships as add-on packs.

Starter looks included · strength 0–100 · 3D LUTs on GPU

  4. Hold Space to compare

Hold Space to see the untouched original; release to return to your edit. Crop to photographic formats while you compare.

    Compare on hold · crop full / 3:2 / 6×6 / 6×7 / XPan

  5. Export at full resolution

One button renders a full-resolution JPEG through the same pipeline you previewed, on your own graphics hardware. The export matches the preview. Full-size RAW export runs on the free trial — 50 exports over 30 days with an email sign-in, no card — and JPEG/PNG/WebP exports need no account at all.

Full-res JPEG · rendered on your GPU · nothing uploaded

Light-tight by design

There is no upload button because there is no upload.

Raw decode, colour and export all run inside your browser, on your own hardware. There is no server that could keep a copy of your photos, because no copy is ever sent. The only thing we keep is the email you sign in with.

Prove it yourself: open your browser's Network tab while you edit. No photo bytes leave the page.
